Nuance PDF Reader is a comprehensive free PDF reader that comes with some interesting extra features.
Of course, you will be able to load, read, save, and print any PDF document, as with any other PDF reader. However, you will also be able to send documents by e-mail directly from the reader’s interface, search for a given expression into the document, or find a given term within a specific page. You will also be able to use the "Hand Tool" to move the document up or down, in order to read its different sections. You can also select some text or images and copy them to the clipboard, to paste them afterwards in a different document.
Nuance PDF Reader also enables you to highlight, cross out, or underline portions of text, perform annotations, and view the attachments and comments that you or other partner included in the document.
In order to ensure a better collaborative experience, Nuance PDF Reader is able to save documents into a SharePoint Server, and open them once saved on any of these servers.
Nuance PDF Reader is also supposed to be able to convert a PDF document into a Word, Excel, or RTF document (through its Nuance Servers service). As for my experience, every attempt to convert ended with a message about some undefined error.
Read, annotate, highlight, and export your PDF files as image or text files.
